Arizona Health Care Cost Containment System (AHCCCS)
AHCCCS is Arizona’s Medicaid program. AHCCCS delivers quality health care to children, women with children, individuals with developmental disabilities, physical disabilities, people over age 65, and employees and owners of small businesses.
Programs and Services: AHCCCS, KidsCare, SSI-MAO, Arizona Long Term Care System (ALTCS), Federal Emergency Services, Freedom to Work, Baby Arizona, Medicare Cost Sharing, Healthcare Group of Arizona. Services for members include doctor visits, specialist care, hospital services, surgery, physical exams, prescriptions, behavioral health, laboratory and x-ray, and family planning.

Community Health Centers
Centers provide primary care and preventive care services on a sliding-fee scale to individuals who are uninsured, low-income, or unable to qualify for other insurance programs.
Programs and Services: Internal Medicine, Obstetrics & Gynecology, Dental, Pediatrics, health promotion, disease prevention, behavioral counseling, patient education, diagnosis and treatment of acute and chronic diseases.

Arizona Department of Insurance
Provides information, publications, and contact information regarding health insurance and other insurance companies who provide coverage to Arizonans.
Programs and Services: Consumer guides to health insurance, lists of health insurance companies, general health insurance resources, health care appeals, coverage for businesses, health insurance resources for children and seniors.

Arizona Department of Health Services (ADHS)
ADHS is Arizona’s public health agency and is responsible for protecting, maintaining, and improving the health of all Arizonans.
Programs and Services: Behavioral health, tobacco education and prevention, children’s rehabilitative services, and public health prevention and promotion programs. ADHS inspects and regulates hospitals, assisted living facilities, child care centers, and nursing homes. The agency also provides programs such as Women, Infants, and Children (WIC); nutrition programs; and immunizations in partnership with county health departments.

Arizona Department of Economic Security (DES)
DES promotes the safety, well-being, and self-sufficiency of children, adults, and families.
Programs and Services: Employment assistance, job training, child and adult protection, child support enforcement, cash assistance, food stamps, services for individuals with developmental disabilities, eligibility process for AHCCCS programs.

Medical Discount Programs
Several programs throughout the state connect uninsured residents with an affordable, comprehensive, and coordinated network of health care providers. Services include doctor visits, specialty care, hospital services, laboratory services, radiology, vision, behavioral health, and pharmacy discount plans. Discount networks are not health insurance. Program members will self-pay based upon pre-negotiated discounted rates.

Arizona CoppeRx® Prescription Drug Card
A prescription discount card available to all Arizona residents. Enrollment is free and prescription discounts range from 15% to 55%. The card is accepted in over 500 pharmacies across Arizona.
Services: Discounts on generic or name drug prescription drugs through retail pharmacies or by mail order. Discounts also available for certain pet medications and diabetes medical supplies.
